I've blogged before, but not like this.

What's up, y'all! I have had my share of blogging experience, but this time I wanted to create something totally different from what I have made in the past.

I used to write about me me me me me. While sometimes it was funny, or encouraging, still, it was me. My perspective. My thoughts. My ideas.

When I was in college I actually pursued a degree in journalism, I learned to write facts, to be unbiased and to double and triple check my sources. I also had the opportunity to interview a variety of people and hear their perspective.

After college I began to seek Jesus. I realized that there are many truths about God that check out way more than three times, there are stories that you get to read from different perspectives.
You can actually find many credible sources, people who have studied the Bible and God for years and years...but I found that the more I tried to figure out God, the more I found myself wanting to go deeper into a relationship with Him, and realizing that there aren't limits that I can put on Him.
He has plans bigger than I can imagine, and if my imagination is my own limit, then certainly the creator of my imagination is way beyond my understanding.

I'm oddly okay with that. I'm an ENTP for those of you who care, and usually my logic stalls my creativity because, well, if it doesn't make sense then I dismiss it. (You can take the Meyers Briggs test and understand what I mean by ENTP if you don't already know. Its super cool!)

My point in all of this is that combining the truth that God is good, He is kind and He is the ultimate creator with any ounce of a vision that He has placed in me will go far beyond what I can understand.

I hope that you'll enjoy following along as I grow and learn. I can't wait to see what He does!

I am just now stepping into something new: cinematography. It's been extremely enjoyable to learn about, but now it's time for me to quit watching tutorials and try it out. So you'll see some of that on my YouTube channel (I'll link it somewhere haha) and probably some photography as well.

Writing has long been a passion of mine and I dont want to let it dry up! This blog is a step. Any step is better than staying still.

Again, I hope that you enjoy this.
